Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 28, 2026 · Applies to the Dino Space mobile app and this website

What changed on July 28, 2026: Dino Space now offers a single optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock extra worlds. It does not change what data the app collects — still none. See "In-app purchases" below.

Dino Space is a children's game made by an independent developer and parent. We designed it so that there is nothing to worry about: the app collects no personal information from anyone, including children. This page explains exactly what that means.

Information we collect

None. Dino Space does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Specifically, the app has:

Data stored on your device

Game progress — such as stickers your child has earned, whether music is muted, and whether the premium worlds have been unlocked — is saved only in the app's local storage on your own device. It never leaves the device, we cannot see it, and deleting the app deletes it.

In-app purchases

Dino Space offers one optional, one-time purchase (US$0.99) that unlocks five extra worlds. It is entirely optional — the app is fully playable without it — and it is placed behind a parental gate (a simple math question) so a young child cannot start it alone.

The purchase itself is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their privacy policies. We never see or receive your name, card number, or any payment details; the app only stores a yes/no "unlocked" flag on your device. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.

Sounds and voices

All sound plays locally on your device. A few short voice clips (such as the dino's friendly "hello") ship inside the app as ordinary audio files, and dinosaur names and facts are read aloud using your device's built-in text-to-speech feature. Nothing is streamed from the internet, and the app never records audio and never uses the microphone.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

Dino Space is designed for young children, and we built it to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws by the simplest possible means: collecting no personal information from anyone. Because no data is collected, no parental consent for data collection is required.

Changes to this policy

If a future update ever changes what the app does with data — for example, adding optional purchases — we will update this policy first and note the change plainly at the top of this page.
